Blueberry Jam

                            I always use frozen blueberries, and we love this recipe, from Gourmet Preserves.

                            1 cup chopped tart green apples (such as granny smith)
                            1 lemon peeled, seeded and chopped
                            1 pint frozen fresh blueberries
                            3 cups sugar
                            1/2 cup water

                            Finely chop apples and lemon in food processor. Place all ingredients in large sauce pan, bring to a boil,
                            stirring constantly until blueberries thaw and sugar dissolves. Boil gently, uncovered, stirring
                            occasionally until thickened, about 30 min. Pour into hot sterilized jars. I bwb for 10 min in 1/2 pt
                            jars-yields about 3 jars.
