Golden Corn Relish
Here's a recipe I've been meaning to post before everyone's gardens are completely gone. This is a good recipe to make when the gardens are winding down, and delicious all winter as a condiment with all your favorite foods.

       Golden Corn Relish

       6 ears corn (yellow)

       4 C. sliced tomatoes (yellow, if possible)

       2 C. chopped onions

       2 C. vinegar

       1 1/2 C. sugar

       2 chopped bell peppers (yellow, if possible)

       1 tsp. celery seeds (we omit)

       2 Tbs. canning salt

       1 Tbs. tumeric

       We usually double this recipe to have a full canner.
       Cut corn, mix all ingredients, bring to a boil. Let simmer 45min to 1 hr, stirring occasionally.

       Immediately fill hot pint jars with corn mixture, leaving 1/2 inch headspace. Wipe jar tops and threads clean. Place hot
       lids on jars and apply screw bands.
       Process in Boiling Water Canner for 15 minutes.
